So I revisited this paste and decided to write down my thoughts. Since its been a month after my last cut, I find it hard to find a product that would remain slick for long enough to achieve the style I want. I have to say, this paste impresses for for what it can do while I’m beginning to experience the difficulties in achieving a style that comes with my current hair length.
First of all, it remains slick while I’m styling allowing me to manipulate the hair for a longer duration. Secondly, once the product dries it gives my hair some pretty decent hold, matte finish and surprisingly soft.
This is my current go-to for a dry look at a medium hair length, although it doesn’t have great softening ingredients like coconut oil or mango butter, I just add basically any hair oil before blow drying and it does the trick in softening my hair prior to styling.
