Jack the Barber Paste

Appication/breakdown: Extremely creamy breakdown. Application process is easy, but the product dries quick developing grip when its dry.

Finish: Truly matte.

Slick: 3/5 slick-ability before it dries.

Hold: Dry products tend not to have great hold but I would classify this one as a lightweight medium-firm hold. Not bad for a dry paste. However, you will find that the endurance on this is pretty bad because it does leave your hair once it’s dried out. If you are the type of person who like their products to remain present in your hair, don’t get this product, seriously, it under performs terribly in this regard.

Scent: Honestly one of the worst parts of this otherwise great paste. The scent smells like chemicals, but luckily its not strong at all.

Washability: Easy to wash out with only water.

Ingredients: Water (aqua) C12-16 Pareth-9, Beeswax, Ceteareth-20, Decyl Palmitate, Glycol Distearate, Cocotrimonium Chloride, Lanolin Alcohol, Petrolatum, Lithium Magnesium Silicate, Chitin, Bentonite, PVP/VA Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Ethylhexlglycerin, 1,2-hexanediol, Fragrance.

Overall: Being a dry paste, this would be suitable for shorter hairstyles with something like a textured quiff. I recommend applying to dry hair.
