Layrite Cement Clay

Application/breakdown: Cement Clay scoops out fairly easy but thick. It breaks down tough like Nostalgic Clay. There is a little bit of tug and pull once applied but nothing that will tear out stands of hair (a lot easier to apply than Hard Muk).

Finish: Cement Clay features a natural Matte finish with a low sheen.

Stylability: It is very easy to style with Cement Clay. It grips the hair yet remaining soft enough to move your fingers through (much easier than Hard Muk was, but more difficult than purple Gatsby).

Hold: The hold is great, it remains in your hair for the whole day. It doesn’t soften up noticeably like Nostalgic Clay does, barely at all in fact.

Scent: Classic Layrite vanilla scent which is undetectable once in your hair.

Washability: Easy to wash out with only water.

Ingredients:  Water/Aqua/Eau, Lanolin Wax, Petrolatum, VP/VA Copolymer, Beeswax/Cera Alba, Tribehenin, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ozokerite/Microcrystalline Wax/Cera Microcristallina/Paraffin, Alcohol Denat, Ceteareth-20, Vinyl Caprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Methyl Gluceth-20

Overall: This is a solid product, very reliable and fairly easy to work with. I can see it being someone’s daily considering the price and amount you get. I would repurchase it when I run out.
